Committees and Leads

These are typically event based positions or subject based roles like diversity that get together and bring ideas to the PTO leadership or manage events and programs

Paw Store Lead
The Paw Store--which is run by Whittier staff and supported by volunteers from PTO--is one of Whittier's student behavior incentive programs. Students earn "paws" as a reward for positive behavior, then get to "spend" those paws on fun toys, classroom supplies, and other items at the Paw Store once a month. This role would lead the coordination of parent volunteers to work at the Paw Store and act as a liaison between the Whittier staff lead (Ms. Kate Herron) and those parent volunteers. This role would also assist in managing inventory of prizes and help set up and take down the store on its monthly open date.
