Teacher Appreciation

This Week: Faculty & Staff Appreciation Week

Thank you to all the students and parents who stopped by the Appreciation Station last week to write notes and share messages of thanks to our amazing Whittier faculty and staff. Also, thank you to those who sent in a thank you message for the video. Stay tuned for the video release next week!

We also want to acknowledge and thank our incredible classroom liaisons for organizing class gifts and helping to share our thanks across the staff.

We have a line-up of gifts and treats planned for the week and still need a few volunteers to help us spread the love. Check out the volunteer opportunities below!

Plant Pickup This Saturday

Yay! Warm weather and planting season is finally here! Come pick up your plants this Saturday and get out into the garden. Thank you for shopping the PTO Plant Sale this year. We hope you love your plants as much as we do!

In order to ease crowding, we’ve created a time frame sign-up to help spread out pickup appointments. Make your appointment here.

Can you ever have enough plants? We think not. Some additional plants, herbs and veggies will be available for day-of purchase. A few more volunteers to help organize and hand out orders would be a big help. Sign up for a shift here.

Date: Saturday May 11th
Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Location: In front of Whittier on the 700 block of N. Cuyler

Important Details: The plant orders will be divided by pickup time and last name. Earlier pickup times will be closer to Augusta.
